EMERYVILLE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–April 11, 2006–EVault, Inc., the leader in online data protection solutions, today announced the opening of new Tier-1 data storage facilities in Chicago and Scottsdale, AZ. Additionally, EVault announced it will open two new regional offices in Chicago and New York to support the increased demand for its online data backup, recovery and compliance solutions and services.

In the last twelve months, the number of EVault’s end-user customers increased by approximately 60 percent. In anticipation of this growth, EVault expanded its headquarters by 30 percent and also increased the number of employees by 30 percent.

“We’ve experienced tremendous year-over-year growth in our business — and in recent months this momentum has been validated by leading industry organizations, with EVault being cited as one of the fastest growing companies in both the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 and Inc. 500 lists,” said Phil Gilmour, president and CEO, EVault, Inc. “We’ve taken a leadership role to innovate, lead and deliver in the data protection space.”

EVault’s new data storage facility brings the total number of its data centers in North America to eight. Other locations include Toronto, ON, Carlstadt, NJ, Philadelphia, PA, Alpharetta, GA, Cincinnati, OH and Emeryville, CA.

The new vaults provide additional capacity and state-of-the-art security to ensure customer data is safely stored, protected and encrypted, in accordance with the highest standards for regulatory, business continuity and disaster recovery requirements.

Sustained Growth and Stellar Services Garner Industry Recognition

Last month, EVault’s managed services received Network Computing’s “Editor’s Choice” award for a February 2006 review focused on disaster-recovery service providers. CRN magazine’s Test Center also recently recognized EVault, naming the company’s managed services one of 2006’s “five hot products for five hot small-business topics.”

EVault’s success has earned the company a spot on a number of coveted top industry listings over recent months. Deloitte Technology named EVault the fifth fastest-growing technology company in the Silicon Valley, and EVault was also named 33rd on the 2005 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 annual ranking of the fastest growing technology companies in North America.

Based on its 914 percent three year growth rate, EVault earned recognition from Inc. magazine, ranking 103rd on its 2005 Inc. 500 list. Representing the vanguard of the American industry, the Inc. 500 list ranks privately held companies according to year-over-year sales growth.
