Synergy signs agreement with BDO (WA)

West Perth-based internet technology systems company Synergy Equities Group Ltd has formed an agreement with accounting firm BDO (WA) for the delivery of its Data-inCrypt online data backup and recovery service by BDO’s IT consulting division to BDO (WA)’s clients.

Under the agreement, BDO’s IT division will recomment Data-inCrypt to its WA clients, and use it in its Perth office. Data-inCrypt and BDO (WA) will enter into a “Teaming Agreement” for an initial term of five years, with plans for it to be replicated with BDO’s other state and territory offices nationwide during the current quarter.

BDO (WA) managing partner Rob Casamento, is enthusiastic about the agreement.

“Data-inCrypt will add a lot of value to BDO’s client base with their data-backup solutions and their delivery of those solutions. The kind of client information we deal with is extraordinarily sensitive, so you can imagine that our faith in Data-inCrypt is considerable”, Mr Casamento said.

Synergy managing director Ronald Moir said the agreement represented a significant milestone for Data-inCrypt.

“BDO is an international organisation with a wealth of experience in the marketplace, not to mention a significant client base. To have BDO recommending Data-inCrypt nationwide is an exciting opportunity for Data-inCrypt.”

“Each BDO state and territory office has its own IT consulting division, so the potential exposure for Data-inCrypt to SME and corporate organisations nationwide is large. This alliance is anticipated to generate revenues in the current quarter and shareholders should be highly encouraged by this development”, Mr Moir concluded.

Data-inCrypt also recently signed a distribution agreement with NSW software company Remtech Australia Pty Ltd, giving the company distribution and licensing rights of the product in the hospitality industry around the world.
