A typical process involves the user to download a small software application that will help them choose the files to protect, and uploads these files to the offsite server on regular interval automatically.

To access the files (to restore them to the original computer or to access them from another computer), the user would use the backup application provided or a web browser. There is typically a monthly fee depending on the size of data being backup.
