GDV Online Data Backup expands their hardware section to support demand for GDV’s Failover Service
Global Data Vault completed today a major hardware expansion in its Dallas data center. The new equipment consists of a variety of high specification servers from Hewlett-Packard.
The new capacity was required to support surging demand for the company’s new Data Failover service, (http://www.globaldatavault.com/backup-solution.html). Failover allows customers to use pre-configured servers with current data in the event that the customer’s own servers are not working for any reason.
“Failover is superior to backup because backup alone cannot get you back in business in minutes. With Failover your company can resume its normal operations much more quickly after an outage,” said, Angela King, Global Data Vault’s Director of Sales.
