Online Storage Services Doubles Its Users Since Launch To Become One of The Largest in Europe
Under four months since its official launch in March, online storage service humyo.com today announces it has signed up its 200,000th user. The figure marks a 100% increase in number of users within four months and signals the growing demand and consumer awareness for online file storage and back up.
“Cloud computing has become a buzzword for 2008 and our recent growth has shown that there is real consumer demand out there” - commented Dan Conlon, Founder of humyo.com
“Microsoft, Apple, Google; they all offer cloud storage but few offer the size and functionality consumers really need. These include syncing your files automatically from your PC or opening files in native applications in the cloud, negating the need to download and upload every time you want to edit a document. The success we have seen, and the feedback from the blogging community, has been fantastic and we look forward to launching a number of new features and products later this year.”
