Mozy Founder Josh Coates Named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year(R) 2008 Award Recipient in Utah

According to Ernst & Young LLP, the award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who are building and leading dynamic, growing businesses. An independent panel of judges selected Josh Coates and presented him the award June 27, 2008 at a gala event at the Salt Palace Convention Center.

In 2005, Josh Coates founded Berkeley Data Systems, the company behind the Mozy online backup service. In 2007, the company was acquired by EMC Corporation and is operated today as a wholly owned subsidiary within the EMC Cloud Infrastructure and Services Division.
