I must say that your site is on top of the industry, it looks like that you are working 24/7 as any news in the industry is posted immediately to your site.

The data loss at Carbonite happened almost 2 year ago. The legal suit just happened after apparently some negotiations failed between the parties.

The number of customers affected was reported as 7,500 (not 75,000 as you said). However, Carbonite was able to restore data for 7,446 customers, but 54 accounts lost their data. Again this happened 2 years ago, just the legal action took place this week.
