NovaBACKUP Remote Workforce and NovaBACKUP xSP to launch at CeBIT 2009 in Hannover Simi Valley, USA, February 25, 2009 — NovaStor, a pioneer in data protection, is launching two new product lines at the German IT fair CeBIT 2009: NovaBACKUP Remote Workforce and NovaBACKUP xSP. NovaBACKUP Remote Workforce was designed to help companies provide local and online backup for mobile workplaces in line with their IT policies. NovaBACKUP xSP will allow IT service providers to offer SaaS solutions that include local and online data backup with flexible pricing models. NovaStor will present its new products as well as its innovative pricing and servicing options at the international trade fair CeBIT 2009 from 3 to 8 March in Hannover in hall 2 at booth D 44. Buying IT services versus IT licenses is quickly gaining popularity due to the higher flexibility offered in respect to costs, choice of functions and number of users. NovaStor will present two new data protection product lines at the CeBIT 2009 that respond to this trend. NovaBACKUP Remote Workforce focuses on the backup of company data, while NovaBACKUP xSP was designed for service providers who want to offer tailor-made SaaS data protection solutions. IT services for businesses: NovaBACKUP Remote Workforce can help companies reduce the number of company wide data protection systems. This results in lower costs and less administrative work. In addition, isolated applications can be replaced with a central solution that allows the implementation of uniform data protection standards. Further cost savings may be achieved by excluding private employee data from the company wide data backup process. SaaS solutions targeted at home users and businesses: Providers looking to offer data backup as SaaS will also appreciate in the customization option available with NovaBACKUP xSP. In particular the branding of the user interface in the ISP’s own design is expected to be in high demand. Other benefits of the software include the round the clock account access ISPs can offer to their clients. ISPs will also welcome a variety of automation and reporting options as well as a central, user friendly administrative interface. According to NovaStor, both new products will be available for sale at the end of Q1 2009. More details will be presented at the CeBIT 2009: There is still time left for resellers to sign up for NovaStor’s free CeBIT certification workshop which is scheduled for Wednesday, 4 March 2009 from 9 am to 1 pm (including breakfast and snacks) in the CeBIT Convention Center. To sign up, send an e-mail to partner@novastor.com. The number of spaces is limited. About NovaStor: NovaStor is headquartered in Switzerland (Rotkreuz), has offices in Germany (Hamburg) and the USA (Simi Valley), and is represented in numerous other countries through partnerships.
