The Marketing Team
Carbonite’s marketing team has driven 90 percent of the company’s revenue over the past four years through online marketing, direct response advertising, PR, and partner programs. We pride ourselves on our ability to market subscription-based services using consumer methods (online and offline).

The Acquisition Marketing Manager (AMM) will report to the Director of Acquisition Marketing (DAM) and be responsible for the planning, management and results of the direct-to-consumer marketing initiatives that drive new customer acquisition ($20MM+ budget). The AMM will work closely with the DAM and agency partners to set strategy and will own day-to-day management of offline and online media programs, including media and target analysis, competitive analysis, ad trafficking, reporting and optimization. S/he will regularly interface with internal teams (creative, engineering, customer support, conversion marketing) and external partners (agencies, consultants) to streamline communications and maximize efficiency and ROI of all advertising efforts. By helping the company achieve aggressive subscriber acquisition targets, the AMM will contribute significantly to Carbonite’s market value as we prepare for a possible IPO over the next 12 to 24 months.
