Asigra Teams with Leading Service Providers to Showcase Business-Class Data Protection Via the Cloud

WHAT: Attendees of the fall SNW 2010 conference will perform hot backup of popular business application data to the cloud. Open to all end user SNW attendees, this Hands-on-Lab delivers a unique experience designed to showcase cloud backup and raise awareness levels of how it can benefit end-user organizations. IT professionals participating in the lab demonstration will be “hands-on” and performing backup of business application data to the cloud and recovering the information to simulate a recovery after a complete server failure. As part of the cloud storage series of hands-on demonstrations, hot backup and fast recovery of Tier One application data will be highlighted to showcase the practicality and benefits of Asigra-powered Cloud Backup in mission-critical environments.

The SNIA Hands-On Lab provides participating companies the opportunity to present technology to IT end users attendees in a forum that raises skill levels through one-on-one discussion and hands-on lab experience.
