Nine Technology Announces Expansion of Board of Directors

Richard Scannell joins group of expert business leaders to shepherd “Powered by Nine” solutions

Middleboro, MA, Nov 17, 2010 –/– Nine Technology, a leading developer of data backup and recovery solutions, today announced the addition of Richard Scannell to its board of directors. Scannell, co-founder and senior vice president of corporate strategy and marketing of Glasshouse Technologies, joins a Nine Technology leadership team ready to usher the company into a promising upcoming year for the company.

Scannell joins Gelson, Allen Deary, Charlie Palmer, Steve Townsend and Jim Milligan on the Nine Technology board. Before assuming his current position at Glasshouse, Scannell served as COO at UpSource, a startup that specialized in outsourced CRM services. Scannell also worked at Motorola as a senior IT infrastructure manager, and graduated from University College Cork in Ireland.
