Minneapolis – April 29, 2013 — / — Code 42 Software Inc., developers of private and public cloud-based endpoint backup solutions for consumers, businesses, and the enterprise, announced today it will present at this week’s Minnesota High Tech Association (MHTA) Spring Conference, to be held Tues. April 30 in Minneapolis. The MHTA Spring Conference brings together technology professionals, educators, policymakers and entrepreneurs for a daylong event covering trends and challenges in the industry.

Brian Bell, president and COO of Code 42, will be a featured speaker during the “Cloud IT – You Ain’t Seen Nothin Yet” session from 9:30-10:30 a.m. CDT in room L100 I/J of the Minneapolis Convention Center. Fellow panelists include Andrew Schroepfer, cloud industry analyst and former Rackspace executive, as well as Shawn Smith, an executive at Lifetouch, Inc. Bell’s “Data Protection in the Cloud: Private or Public?” presentation will discuss factors that can help companies decide which cloud-based enterprise backup solutions best meet business needs while also abiding by security and/or compliance requirements.

In addition to its participation in the Cloud IT panel, Code 42 is a gold sponsor at the event and will demonstrate its enterprise endpoint backup solution CrashPlan PROe in booth #601. CrashPlan PROe is the only enterprise endpoint backup solution that gives the high level of control enterprises require with the ease-of-use and flexibility employees demand. PROe runs silently and continuously, giving enterprise IT a single, powerful disaster recovery solution that’s easy to manage while empowering end users with easy, self-service access to backed up files from any computer or mobile device.
