Mountain View – June 19, 2013 — /BackupReview.info/ — Enterprise file sharing and sync (EFSS) and mobility vendor Vaultize (www.vaultize.com) today announced the appointment of Vivek Anand as company’s Vice President of Sales to focus on global emerging markets.
As enterprises across the world are impacted by data loss, security and compliance risks, because of proliferation of consumer file sharing and BYOD trend, they look for secure and enterprise-controlled solution. Vaultize has been generating significant interest among medium and large enterprises across verticals in this space. Addition of Vivek to the executive team strengthens this market momentum.
Vivek brings to Vaultize a successful track record of 17 years in enterprise storage and data protection sales in leadership and executive management roles. He joins Vaultize from Netmagic (an NTT Communications company) where he was responsible for steering and driving sales growth and business performance across geographies as head of business development. Prior to that, Vivek spearheaded CommVault System’s business in Asia Pacific region as Regional Sales Director. In addition, he has held many senior management roles in sales – including National Sales Manager for Veritas (and later Symantec).
“We are thrilled to be attracting such talent as Vivek. With his extensive enterprise sales and business leadership experience, he brings an impressive breadth and depth of expertise and knowledge to Vaultize. We are delighted to welcome Vivek to Vaultize as we continue our strategic expansion across the world and build a strong presence,” said Anand Kekre, CEO and Co-founder of Vaultize.
“This is an exciting time to be joining Vaultize,” said Vivek. “The enterprise file sharing and mobility market are rapidly evolving to mitigate data loss and security risks. In addition to having an industry-leading technology, Vaultize has an impressive executive management team and fast growing list of customers, which I look forward to expanding further.”
“I am looking forward to working closely with our business and technology partners to address customers’ growing need for solutions that are efficient and flexible, and help enable productivity and collaboration, while granting enterprise IT complete control with security and compliance capabilities.” adds Vivek.
Through Vaultize’s endpoint encryption, sensitive corporate information remains encrypted on endpoints ensuring protection against unauthorized access and potential data leakage from lost or stolen device. In addition to on-disk protection, Vaultize’s patent pending encryption technology used in file sharing and backup ensures that the data is encrypted or decrypted only on endpoints – guaranteeing end-to-end protection.
