89 Percent of Respondents Would Purchase Acronis Backup & Recovery® Again, According to Storage Magazine Quality Awards

Woburn, Mass., July 2nd, 2013  — / – Acronis®, a leading provider of disaster recovery and data protection solutions for physical, virtual and cloud environments, today announced that Acronis Backup & Recovery® was placed first in the ‘product reliability’ and ‘initial product quality’ categories in Storage magazine/’s eighth annualQuality Awards,  outperforming Veeam Backup & Replication™ in four out of five categories including ‘technical support’ and ‘sales-force competence.’ An impressive 89 percent of respondents stated they would purchase Acronis Backup & Recovery® again.

Acronis Backup & Recovery gives organizations the ability to protect their hybrid physical, virtual and cloud environments through one management console, reducing total cost of ownership, management complexity, and margin of error through consistent user experience. Storage magazine’s Quality Awards recognize products in five main categories: sales-force competence, initial product quality, product features, product reliability and technical support. This year, a total of 243 respondents provided 541 backup and recovery software product evaluations, helping to identify the most credible products in the industry. In total, 37 products were rated on a scale of 1.00 to 8.00, with 8.00 being the best possible score. Acronis Backup and Recovery received scores of 6.44 and 6.64 in the ‘product reliability’ and ‘initial product quality’ categories, respectively.
