Cloud Backup and Disaster Recovery Provider Responds to Rapidly Increasing Customer Base and Prepares for Continued Company Growth
SUNNYVALE, Calif.– September 24, 2013 — /BackupReview.info/ — Zetta.net, a provider of enterprise-grade cloud backup and disaster recovery solutions, today announced two new executive appointments.
Kevin J. Laughlin has joined the company as chief financial officer (CFO), and Glenn Rawlinson as vice president of business development. The addition of Laughlin and Rawlinson to the Zetta.net management team was a direct response to the dramatic growth the company has seen as it delivers a cloud backup and disaster recovery solution with enterprise-class features to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and managed service providers (MSPs).
With three decades of experience in finance and operations, Laughlin joins Zetta.net from Sensa Products, a $150 million in revenue consumer product company where he was CFO. In this position, Laughlin transitioned Sensa to an independent operating subsidiary and built the finance function previously performed by parent company Intelligent Beauty. Prior to his position at Sensa, Laughlin held CFO positions with IT services company All Covered, and management software company International Network Services.
While at International Network Services, Laughlin grew the company from $3 million in revenue and 50 employees, to a $400 million public company with 2,200 employees worldwide over six years. At All Covered, he was instrumental in growing corporate revenue from $25 million to $45 million. Laughlin has also served as corporate controller at Electronics for Imaging, Inc., where he grew finance from no revenue to a $100 million international public company over four years.
“Kevin Laughlin’s depth of expertise and track record of success in finance and administration make him ideal for directing the financial strategy and execution of Zetta.net as the company continues its rapid growth,” said Ali Jenab, CEO, Zetta.net. “His experience and insight will be a valuable resource as we forge ahead to drive the company’s success.”
Before joining Zetta.net as vice president of business development, Glenn Rawlinson most recently served as chief growth officer and advisor for Zwingit, a mobile application for location-based bookmarking, where he was responsible for retooling and relaunching Zwingit 2.0. Rawlinson has also served as vice president of strategy and business development for Hara Software, and as director of the Western region and national verticals for SAP America.
“Glenn Rawlinson’s specialization in delivering revenue growth through technology and services partnerships—as well as strategic deal negotiation to deliver against enterprise software sales goals—will help Zetta.net remain a leader in the fast-growing cloud backup and disaster recovery market,” said Jenab. “We are very pleased to add both Kevin and Glenn to our management team.”
