Dynamic Analytics from the Cloud Improves Visibility with Key Data Center Metrics
CAMPBELL, Calif., Oct. 1, 2013 — /BackupReview.info/ — APTARE, a leader in data center optimization software, today announced a major release of its flagship platform, APTARE® StorageConsole® 9.0.
PTARE StorageConsole 9.0 allows IT administrators to proactively monitor and report on their entire storage and backup environment through a single web interface. It also utilizes the cloud to provide customers with real-time access to reporting and analytics that help maximize storage efficiencies and solve problems related to compliance standards, chargeback, utilization, and visibility. Customers can easily search through the entire set of APTARE reports. New reports are added to the search results as soon as they are published to the cloud and instantly available for customers to find and use seamlessly without any software upgrades or installations. In addition, new subsystem data collection rules are managed in the cloud seamlessly added to customer environments to make data collection and storage more efficient without requiring software upgrades.
“With the release of StorageConsole 9.0, APTARE provides enterprise customers and service providers the ability to have software and analytics tools that get smarter without requiring product upgrades,” says Richard Clark, Founder and CEO of APTARE. “APTARE’s customers and service provider partners can now easily find reports that help enterprises solve problems like meeting SLA requirements, optimizing chargeback processes, and providing visibility to avoid emergency purchases.”
In addition to a single HTML5 web interface and cloud reporting capabilities, StorageConsole 9.0 also brings to market these new features:
“Cloud-based analytics are going to enable service providers to deliver additional value to enterprise IT organizations,” stated Bob Laliberte, Sr. Analyst, ESG. “This allows enterprises to leverage a service provider to manage their storage and/or backup, but still retain complete visibility and access to detailed information about those environments and better manage their total ownership cost.”
StorageConsole 9.0 will be generally available for upgrades and purchase in November 2013.
