The new Belgacom partnership is another win for F-Secure’s safe content cloud services, which allow consumers to access all their content from any device wherever they are.

Helsinki, Finland – November 26, 2013 — / — Looking to ensure the security and privacy of its customers’ content, Belgacom, the largest telecom in Belgium, has chosen F-Secure’s safe cloud services to power its new “Belgacom Cloud.”

Consumers are creating and storing an unprecedented amount of content, and that content is scattered across multiple devices and online services. But consumers are ready for new ways to manage their content: 64% of consumers globally say it would be useful to have all their content accessible on all their devices wherever they are.* And consumers are worried about the security and privacy of content they store in the cloud.

The partnership will allow Belgacom customers to access their photos, videos, music, documents, and other files anywhere, across their computers, mobile devices and TVs, and to safely share with family and friends. It will also allow them to connect the content they store with existing cloud services like Dropbox, so all their content can be accessed in one place. With F-Secure’s 25 years of expertise in security and with its content cloud services built for privacy from the ground up, consumers can be sure their content is safe.

“We’re pleased to have Belgacom on board with our safe cloud services,” says Samu Konttinen, Executive Vice President at F-Secure. “Personal cloud services are becoming central to operators’ service strategies. Belgacom customers will enjoy the best in content services, with an enjoyable and fun user experience, and world-class security protecting it.”

Belgacom Cloud is available for computers, laptops, and for Android, iOS and Windows smartphones and tablets.

F-Secure offers safe cloud services through more than 100 operator partners around the world and securely stores billions of photos, videos, documents, and other files for millions of end customers globally. Located in five data centres on three continents, F-Secure’s ever-increasing cloud content currently makes up several petabytes of data.
