Data Foundry have deployed thermal sensors throughout their data centres to maximise the efficiency of cooling distribution in order to assure their customers of compliance with regulations and offer the most cost effective services.

The precise management of power and cooling using 100% accurate data is essential in a data centre’s ability to maximise rack density and efficient energy use. Much of the reason for co-locating server assets to Data Foundry is to reduce the exposure to tight energy usage regulations, poor capacity management and secure asset management.

Data Foundry has utilised the Rack Cooling Index (RCI) and Return Temperature Index (RTI) capabilities in RF Code’s data centre management software to ensure compliance with the ASHRAE guidelines.
