Stand-alone product comes back to Finovate stage with exciting, new features

HERNDON, VA – Aug. 13, 2014 — /BackupReview.info/ — My Virtual StrongBox®, a leading digital safe deposit box solution for banks and credit unions, returns to the FinovateFall stage on Sept. 23 & 24, 2014. First appearing in 2012, the service is now available to consumers through their financial service providers nationwide.

Finovate, founded in 1995, presents conferences across the world focused on the leading technologies that are changing and shaping the finance industry.

“We’re very happy to see My Virtual StrongBox back on the FinovateFall stage after their debut two years ago,” said Eric Mattson, CEO of Finovate. “Cloud storage and financial information privacy are very hot topics, and we’re certain that My Virtual StrongBox will be talked about extensively for the duration of the conference.”

Ron Daly, President/CEO of Virtual StrongBox, Inc. says the newest version of My Virtual StrongBox, which will be presented at the upcoming Finovate, includes enhancements that offer greater protection of customers’ sensitive documents while increasing operational efficiency.

“I’m thrilled to unveil our latest innovations at the upcoming FinovateFall 2014,” he said. “Online security, ease of use and convenience are in high demand, and this product delivers all three.”

Debuting New Features

My Virtual StrongBox plans to debut several new features on stage at FinovateFall 2014, including:

  • Enterprise File Exchange offers a handy-yet-secure way to exchange sensitive documents between customers and their provider, without relying on email. Customers also can exchange files with trusted third parties as they wish.
  • Secure Form Transporting lets customers electronically sign online forms, store a copy in their My Virtual StrongBox and deliver the signed document to the financial service provider.
  • The Setup Wizard is an easy-to-use education tool that helps customers learn to use My Virtual StrongBox to their best advantage. The Wizard makes suggestions on which documents to store, based on unique profiles it creates after customers answer a few simple questions.

Daly notes that significant life events such as births, marriages, mortgages, auto purchases and medical issues generate important papers that should be carefully preserved.

“Whether it’s tax papers, loan documents or a family trust, My Virtual StrongBox keeps all of customers’ critical information in one convenient spot in a way that’s simple, safe and accessible,” he said.

Along with financial institutions, My Virtual StrongBox is available for use by other financial service providers, including wealth management, brokerage and insurance firms.

Virtual StrongBox, Inc. is in the process of securing several patents related to its service and encryption technology. Since its launch in 2012, My Virtual StrongBox has been deployed by 16 financial service providers with more than $20 billion in assets and serving approximately 1.4 million consumers.

About My Virtual StrongBox
Launched in 2012, My Virtual StrongBox functions as an online safe deposit box for valuable items such as wills, birth certificates, insurance and tax documents, family photographs and other important papers. Users keep these items secure by loading them into protected, online document libraries. One important feature is that the product is an actual depository, not just a temporary storage drop or transfer station. Find out more at www.MyVirtualStrongBox.com
