Company’s Summit Partner Program listed in inaugural Cloud Partner Programs Guide; Code42 channel director named a top channel executive

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Oct. 14, 2014 — /BackupReview.info/ — Code42, the leader in endpoint data protection and management for business and enterprise, today announced it has been named to the inaugural CRN Cloud Partner Programs Guide, and that its Director of Channel Sales Ryan Gruening has been included in CRN’s “100 People You Don’t Know but Should.” Together, these achievements exhibit Code42’s rising impact on the channel and continued expansion of its partner ecosystem.

“We believe the way we’ve designed and implemented Code42’s Summit Partner Program is a differentiator and something the channel’s been clamoring for,” said Gruening. “Over the past year, we’ve contributed significantly to our partners’ bottom line. For Code42, the channel is a driving force, helping scale our business from a sales and services perspective.”

Selected for the CRN Cloud Partner Programs Guide, Code42’s Summit Partner Program consists of more than 700 channel partner including Datalink, AHEAD and Sidepath. The CRN Cloud Partner Programs Guide lists the leading technology vendors offering innovative cloud-related partner programs designed to benefit members of the indirect IT channel and their cloud initiatives. The guide helps solution providers locate and explore the IT industry’s top cloud technologies, programs and offerings; it’s also a way to connect with the organizations making these technologies and programs available through the channel.

Additionally, Gruening was named to CRN’s “100 People You Don’t Know but Should” list, which celebrates channel managers from top vendors and distributors. Members of the list are selected by the CRN editorial team based on ongoing feedback throughout the year from solution providers and other industry executives. Gruening joined Code42 in 2012, and leads the strategy and execution of its worldwide channel program.

“Cloud computing is a game-changing technology, and it’s imperative that the IT channel be able to quickly identify those organizations most deeply committed to helping solution providers grow their cloud-related revenue,” said Robert Faletra, chief executive officer of The Channel Company, publisher of CRN. “Each cloud provider and vendor noted by the CRN editors has been chosen based on its robust cloud partner program, as well as the unique and enthusiastic ways in which it has embraced the channel as a go-to-market strategy.”

The Cloud Partner Programs Guide and “100 People You Don’t Know but Should” are featured in the October issue of CRN and can be viewed online at www.crn.com.

These honors add to recent momentum of Code42’s Summit Partner Program. In August, Code42 celebrated the program’s one-year anniversary, which marked significant growth of its reseller roster. In addition, Code42 announced that its Internet2 NET+ CrashPlan program has spurred campus-wide adoption of CrashPlan at over 250 universities, including Princeton University, Stanford University and University of Notre Dame.
