POOLE, DORSET, UK – November 18, 2014 — /BackupReview.info/ — Blue Chip and IT security experts, Fortinet have joined forces to present a ‘Next Generation Security’ seminar demonstrating the very latest security threats, showing how they can seriously affect businesses and significantly, providing real solutions on how to combat them.

The 2014 Information Security Breaches Survey* published by the Department of Business Innovation and Skills, showed that organisations of all sizes suffer from external attacks.  In the last year alone, more than sixty per cent of smaller companies surveyed reported a security breach, while forty-five per cent of small businesses reported attacks by unauthorised outsiders.

Anthony Green, Sales and Marketing Director at Blue Chip, said: “Working with our security partner Fortinet, the seminar both highlights the very real and evolving IT threats that our customers face every day and the most up-to-date options available to them.  We strongly urge companies who have experienced IT threats – and especially those whose protection is not up to date to attend.  At the very least they will be aware of what the threats are, while attendees will benefit from industry-leading advice on how they can protect their business.  ‘Doing nothing’ is the only course of action which is not an option.”

The ninety-minute, interactive Next Generation Security Seminar takes place at Blue Chip’s Headquarters in Poole on Thursday 20th November between 9.00am and 11.00am (complimentary breakfast 9.00am – 9.30am).
