Partnership addresses Windows Server 2003 end-of-support deadline

With just six months to go until Microsoft ends its support for Windows Server 2003, 68% of UK SMBs are thought to still be using the operating system. Systemax will market the solution through its Misco subsidiaries in Europe as Systemax Stack-As-A-Service and will establish recurring revenue streams from ongoing management and support of each Zynstra appliance.

In-line with the announcement, Roger Sowerbutts has joined Zynstra as VP EMEA and will be responsible for revenue, channel partners, sales, pre-sales and marketing. He joins from Infor where he was the Regional VP EMEA for Global Accounts. Prior to this, Roger held EMEA VP roles at Comparex, Insight and Software Spectrum. He has also had five year stints at both Microsoft and HP and so is able to bring great knowledge of the market, partners and highly relevant experience in driving sales in the IT channel.
