ENGLEWOOD, CO – April 30, 2015 — / — DBAK, a leading technology consulting company and Oracle License Reseller, today announced it is expanding its cloud offering and long-standing relationship with Arrow Electronics, Inc., a global technology distributor, by bundling ArrowSphere cloud services with its traditional offering.

The ArrowSphere expansion enables DBAK to offer services from 50-plus best-of-breed cloud providers via a single Arrow reseller agreement. The announcement comes as a result of strong demand for DBAK IT solutions that bundle cloud services with its traditional consulting and managed services, offered since 2005.

ArrowSphere is Arrow Electronics’ proprietary online marketplace that offers Arrow solution partners centralized access to more than 50 cloud services providers that range from global, market share leaders to niche, local market players. ArrowSphere’s web-based interface allows for easy side-by-side cloud provider comparison and faster cloud procurement for DBAK customers with urgent needs.

“ArrowSphere enables DBAK to capitalize on new cloud demand by matching unique customer needs to a solution that is the right fit,” said Scott Nelsen, senior director of the Oracle Group at Arrow.

The full ArrowSphere offering is available immediately to DBAK customers. DBAK cites backup, disaster recovery, security-as-a-service, and on-demand cloud infrastructure as the most frequently requested services, including solutions for regulated end-users such as healthcare, financial services, government, and publicly traded enterprises. ArrowSphere will augment, not replace, DBAK’s traditional offering.

“Our customers have made it clear, cloud computing is the future for DBAK,” said Ed Hut, co-founder and president of DBAK. “ArrowSphere gives our certified technical experts the flexibility to address almost any customer requirement with the right cloud solutions while maintaining superior operational efficiency.”
