Strencom Acquires Data Backup and Disaster Recovery Specialist Storage Online

DRaaS acquisition brings total company headcount to 30

DUBLIN, IRELAND – August 5, 2015 — /BackupReview.info/ — Managed connectivity and cloud computing provider Strencom has acquired disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS) specialist Storage Online in a deal which will increase Strencom’s turnover by €2 million over the next three years.

Storage Online’s five roles integrated into Strencom, bringing its total number of employees to 30.

Strencom has 140 customers across a number of industries including retail, agri-business, financial, and construction/engineering. Transactions totalling more than €35 billion are supported by Strencom infrastructure every year.

Storage Online’s 43 customers include many local authorities around the country and the HSE.
