Tintri Announces Solid Park as New Partner in Sweden

Solid Park, one of Sweden’s largest cloud service providers, implements Tintri solution in its own data center to simplify storage management and guarantee application performance

STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN – October 19, 2015 — /BackupReview.info/ — Tintri, a leading provider of VM-aware storage (VAS) for virtualization and cloud environments, today announced it has signed a reseller agreement with Solid Park, one of Sweden’s largest providers of IT services. The company, which hosts several hundred virtual servers for customers around Sweden, is headquartered in Västerås and has sales offices in Stockholm, Norrköping, Linköping and Katrineholm. Solid Park will sell Tintri products in the Nordics as well as oper- ate Tintri in its own data center.

Previously, Solid Park used to be a NetApp reseller. However, it decided to move to Tintri for its virtual- ized applications. A key benefit of the Tintri system is the ability to see across the host, network and storage system to immediately identify the source of any performance issues.

Tintri storage is specifically designed for virtualized applications—it allows organizations to take or auto- mate every storage action at the virtual machine (VM) level. This greatly simplifies storage management and allows organizations to guarantee application performance.
