(cse:DDB) (otcqb:DDBXF) (2DD) (the “Company”), a global provider of cloud backup and recovery technology, is proud to officially make the first of three (3) “Smart Storage” products available to existing and new partners. The first product made available (called the DDB200) is a new local storage solution to the market that will run the Data Deposit Box Continuous Data Protection (CDP) cloud storage software providing complete business continuity for SME, SMB’s and SOHO businesses globally.

Commencing October 30th existing and new partners will be able to order the new DDB200 local storage solution to evaluate or resell to clients and the SMB globally. Commencing Oct. 28th Data Deposit Box will notify over 2500 partners and interested resellers that the DDB200 will be available to order on Oct. 30th with pre-ordering available starting on the 28th. The product will be the first in its kind to offer a patented continuous cloud backup and agentless cloud backup solution within a 4 bay hard drive system with cloud storage offering the industry’s most cost effective business continuity solution for the SMB globally.

“We are incredibly excited to begin selling and shipping the DDB200 product to our partners. The device (along with the DDB400 and DDB600 scheduled for release md-November) is something that we have been working on for several months and we are confident it will provide the positive revenue growth for the company.” The Data Deposit Box solution will offer very attractive pricing that will allow the reseller and partner to generate margin on the initial purchase and on a monthly recurring basis. said Tim Jewell, CEO of Data Deposit Box.

Data Deposit Box’s “Smart Storage” local storage device is a 4 bay storage system that is designed to provide a local and cloud based business continuity solution at a SMB price. The hardware is designed with redundant “NAS quality” hard drives that will provide maximum storage capacity and system uptime. Cloud storage will be coupled with the solution to provide a low cost offsite recovery point. This will create a one-time revenue gain from the device while creating a reoccurring monthly revenue stream from the bundled cloud storage.

“We have identified a significant demand for this product in today’s marketplace and we are now able to begin to service that demand. We are very confident that this will be a major area of growth for us and complements our existing product offerings as well as the SOHO and direct consumer\retail market.” said Troy Cheeseman, President & COO, Data Deposit Box Inc.

“The SMB market (globally) is largely unserved with this type of product and service and due to DDB product maturity and SMB design, DDB can offer the product and cloud service at a SMB price while at same time DDB obtain a competitive per unit margin and gain significant per TB margin on our cloud storage. Having direct access to two major regions in our product and market plan will make the device available to over 40MM small and medium business. We are now able to provide the solution and turn our efforts into top line revenue and expected growth. We continue to move on our Managed Services Provider and End Device strategy and launching the DDB200 the beginning of changing our planning into execution”, said Troy Cheeseman, President & COO, Data Deposit Box Inc.
