VP of Federal Operations will focus on the role of copy data virtualization for Federal agencies

The talk – part of the Ignite Talk series moderated by Actifio’s Mike Howard, Director of DOD, DHA and COCOMs – will focus on the role of copy data virtualization in fulfilling the missions of United States military and other Federal agencies.

According to MeriTalk, by 2024 government agencies will spend as much as $16.5 billion storing redundant copies of non-production data, which represents a significant challenge to the Federal Data Center Consolidation Initiative. Carter and Howard will be drawing on their extensive experience from both the IT and Federal space to share practical insights into the benefits and considerations of copy data virtualization as a service and how this strategy has supported many key government technology initiatives.
