Version 4.0 includes new features for integrated subscription billing, services pricing, infrastructure management and help desk ticketing, along with an upgraded user interface

NEW YORK, NY – April 27, 2016 — / — Ubersmith announces version 4.0 of its integrated billing, infrastructure management and help desk software suite for data centers and cloud-related service providers that comes with a completely redesigned user interface, as well as additional capabilities for more sophisticated pricing of services, plus global event notifications.

Ubersmith 4.0 is subscription billing, infrastructure management and help desk ticketing software that is designed for companies offering cloud services, hosting, colocation, software-as-a-service and managed services. It provides both a view for administrative users – who can access full client data such as billing status, discounts applied, device information, services being purchased, which is fully customizable – along with a separate portal view accessed by their clients for only their specific account information.

Ubersmith is used globally by SMBs and larger enterprises for open, scalable and integrated management of billing, infrastructure, sales and operations.

The modular design of the business management software suite enables customers to use the full complement of features, or select only the modules they need, or choose specific modules to be used in combination with systems already in place. Pricing is based on the number of users, clients and devices – giving customers the ability to pay only for what they need.

New Features
Ubersmith 4.0 has a new user interface that is clean and simple for navigation which has been tuned to users’ needs.

Additional new features include:

  • Global event notifications that enable administrative users to subscribe to specific account alerts that are important to them and provide automatic updates, including status on quotes, support tickets, devices, work orders and more;
  • Responsive graphs that are refreshed on an ongoing basis to reflect the most current data with “drill-down” capability for analysis;
  • Pricing history audit trail with information on anything that may have affected a change, such as rate plans, contract terms, discounts, quantities;
  • Scheduling of pricing for future points in time.

Shawn Mills, president of Green House Data, said, “The sophisticated pricing and forecasting capabilities help us better serve our customers. Because we offer a high degree of customization, Ubersmith’s holistic views and specific alerts are invaluable to our business.”

As the need to maximize operational efficiency is increasingly top of mind for service providers, it is no coincidence Ubersmith continues to gain adoption.”
