Code42 Continues UK Expansion; Appoints New Managing Director

Nic Scott to accelerate growth by driving adoption of end-user data security tools

LONDON, UK — Aug. 9, 2016 — /BackupReview.info/ — Code42, the modern endpoint backup company, has appointed Nic Scott to the role of managing director for the UK and Ireland. Scott will draw on his wealth of experience managing fast-growing technology companies to spearhead Code42’s growth in the region.

Scott brings over two decades of of IT industry experience to his role as managing director. He will be responsible for setting the strategy and accelerating Code42’s expansion in the region by developing new enterprise-class relationships, optimizing channel partnerships and driving strategic sales, marketing and operational initiatives.

Prior to joining Code42, Scott held senior business management and development roles at a number of leading global organisations and fast-growing technology companies. He served as CEO and president of Americas for Fairsail, a leading provider of global workforce collaboration where he was responsible for a 200 percent increase in top line sales. Additionally, Scott served as vice president and director at RR3dp and vice president at Responsys, an Oracle company.

In addition to its expansion in the UK, Code42 recently opened offices in Silicon Valley and Colorado. Last year, the company raised $85 million in Series B funding led by JMI Equity and New Enterprise Associates, Inc. (NEA) and will move into expanded headquarters in downtown Minneapolis in 2017.
