Brings one-click website, email and server backup to ICONZ-Webvisions’ network of over 40,000 SME customers
SINGAPORE – 1st September 2016 — /BackupReview.info/ — Dropsuite, a global, cloud based software platform enabling small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to easily backup, recover and protect their digital assets, has partnered with Singapore-based ICONZ-Webvisions (iWV), a leading Cloud and Managed Services provider.
Dropsuite now provides affordable and reliable one-click data backup to iWV’s network of 40,000 customers in Asia. iWV’s customers include small and medium businesses, in addition to larger enterprises such as 3M, Cycle & Carriage, Drew & Napier, OSIM, Hong Leong Finance, and MCL Land.
Under the agreement, Dropsuite recognises iWV as a gold partner and official reseller of Dropmysite’s Website Backup, Dropmyemail’s Office 365 Email Backup & Archiving and DSE Server Backup, each a simple one-click solution for website, email and server cloud backup. Dropmysite is also the cloud-backup service of choice for businesses purchasing bundled professional services from iWV.
Charif Elansari, CEO of Dropsuite, said: “It is incredibly important for businesses everywhere to safely and securely backup and protect their data. As online channels drive more of the top and bottom line, a reliable and effective backup solution keeps the business running. It also gives peace of mind so that managers can focus on what’s most important: serving the customer.”
Albert Wong, Group CEO of iWV, said: “As an established Managed Services Provider, iWV is always on the lookout for solutions to help our clients. Dropsuite’s leading cloud backup platform will offer great benefits to our client SMEs, helping them easily backup, recover, and protect their digital assets. “
The global disaster recovery market for SMEs is expected to be worth US$6 billion by 2019, according to SME Cloud Insights (Parallels Research 2014); meanwhile, according to ODIN, 41 per cent of SMEs want online storage and backup as part of a US$98 billion global SME IT Cloud market.
The iWV partnership comes weeks after Dropsuite partnered with LeaderTelecom, a Netherlands-based premium telecom service provider and European market leader in online security. In April 2016 Dropsuite partnered with U.S.-based Ingram Micro, the world’s largest technology distributor. Such partnerships with leading global brands help Dropsuite to reach even more customers on a reseller basis, allowing it to focus on its best-in-class products and services capabilities for the cloud-backup solutions market.
Dropsuite partners with some of the biggest global names in the hosting and IT service provider market, including GoDaddy, the world’s largest domain name registrar, Ingram Micro, the world’s largest distributor of computer and technology products, and Singtel, the largest telco in Singapore. Dropsuite also partners with many leading hosting providers such as GMO Internet (Japan), Hostpapa (Canada), Blacknight (Ireland), and OZ Hosting (Australia).
Dropsuite was launched in 2012 (as Dropmysite) and is headquartered in Singapore, with a sales presence in the US, Europe, Japan, and Australia. In 2016, Dropsuite launched professional-grade business continuity services such as server backup and email archiving. More at: www.dropsuite.com
