More than 100,000 businesses in over 600 cities have access to fiber-ready services

MONROE, La., Oct. 10, 2016 — / — CenturyLink, Inc. (NYSE: CTL) announced today that fiber-ready broadband speeds up to 1 gigabit per second (Gbps) are now available to 14,000 multi-tenant units (MTUs) in more than 600 cities.

With 25 percent of the world’s economy expected to be digital by 2020, according to Accenture’s January 2016 Digital Economic Value Index, CenturyLink is pleased to offer its gigabit service to more than 100,000 small to large businesses in MTUs with symmetrical upload and download speeds, as well as Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and managed IT solutions.
