Send Backup and Archive Data to Microsoft Azure Cloud Storage Using a Network Attached Storage (NAS) Appliance, Enhancing Investments in Backup Infrastructures

Carlsbad, CA – 27 Feb. 2017 — /BackupReview.info/ — BridgeSTOR, LLC, the company making cloud storage accessible, today announced the Coronado V-NAS Archive Access Point for Azure, a free or low cost-effective solution for storing backup and archive data in Microsoft Azure through a familiar NAS interface. The Coronado V-NAS Archive Access Point is the latest addition to BridgeSTOR’s family of Cloud Access products that enable global access to cloud storage. The Coronado V-NAS Archive Access Point for Azure integrates elegantly into existing backup infrastructures by allowing backup applications to send data directly to Azure Blob Storage with no additional charges that may be required by backup applications.

The Free Version of the Coronado V-NAS Archive Access Point for Azure allows up to 5TB of backup data to be stored in Microsoft Azure with no support from BridgeSTOR. A supported version of the Coronado V-NAS Archive Access Point for Azure is available starting at $300.00 per month with lower annual payments. All Coronado V-NAS Access Points enable the business enterprise to retain the durability, control and security inherent in NAS Storage while leveraging the cost, availability and accessibility advantages of cloud storage.

“This Free version of the product allows most businesses to easily use and see the benefits of Cloud Storage in their backup and NAS environments”

Other key features and capabilities of the Coronado V-NAS Archive Access Points include:

1) The ability to use local disk storage to enable backups to be performed at local network speeds;

2) In-line data compression that can double the capacity of cloud and/or local storage (assuming the industry-standard 2:1 data compression ratio);

3) Military-strength data encryption used whenever sending data to cloud storage.

The Coronado V-NAS Archive Access Point for Azure is delivered as a VHD virtual appliance compatible with Hyper-V.

“The Coronado V-NAS Archive Access Point for Azure builds on our Amazon Compatible family of products.”, says John Matze, CEO, BridgeSTOR, LLC. “This Free version of the product allows most businesses to easily use and see the benefits of Cloud Storage in their backup and NAS environments.”
