Archive add-on for Continuity247 allows MSPs to simplify management and expand their BDR opportunities

BOSTON, MA – June 28, 2017 — /BackupReview.info/ — Continuum®, the exclusive provider of the only vertically integrated IT service delivery platform that enables MSPs to scale rapidly and profitably, today announced the availability of Archive for Continuity247, Continuum’s managed backup and disaster recovery (BDR) platform. Archive gives MSPs a low-cost backup and restore option for less time-critical data, expanding Continuity247’s capabilities as a unified BDR solution.

Archive takes advantage of the scale and economics of the public cloud, creating a cost-effective, long-term cloud storage option for MSPs to provide archiving, future referencing and offsite redundancy for their clients’ less time-critical local backups. Continuum’s MSP partners using Continuity247 now have the option to store these backups in Amazon Glacier or their own cloud environment.

MySherpa is a Delaware-based Continuum MSP partner utilizing Continuity247 that participated in the pilot program for Archive. It was able to take advantage of the wider range of BDR options for its clients without having to migrate to a new technology platform.

“There’s never a one-size-fits-all approach to BDR, so it’s critical that we’re able to provide the right backup and recovery services to our clients,” said Ethan Tancredi, President Sherpa, MySherpa. “Archive enables us to offer a reliable, automated, offline archive solution at a low price point, giving our clients access to the public cloud when it makes sense. And, as an add-on to the existing platform, it allows us to manage our clients’ BDR services from a single pane of glass with Continuity247.”

As MSPs balance a portfolio of technology platforms, managing multiple solutions from a unified platform is crucial to maintain team efficiency and a clear view into BDR setups across all clients. This critical need of MSPs is central to Continuum’s philosophy when expanding the capabilities of its product line, including Continuity247.

“Our core aim as a business is to enable our partners to improve their margins and attract new clients,” said Fielder Hiss, VP of Product, Continuum. “Archive is the perfect example of how we apply this in our technology. It expands our partners’ range of services in BDR into a lower-cost segment of the market and improves their ability to efficiently manage multiple BDR options from one platform, without needing to engage in a costly migration to an entirely new solution. Archive promises to drive greater success for our MSP partners offering BDR services to their clients.”

Archive is now available to MSPs using the Continuity247 platform. More information on Archive can be found here — https://goo.gl/YHQB32
