Commvault Partner Program Gets High Marks Again in 2017

TINTON FALLS, NJ – June 29, 2017 — /BackupReview.info/ — Commvault, a global leader in enterprise backup, recovery, archive and the cloud, announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Commvault’s Cathleen Nelson, Americas alliance manager, and Regina Wood, director of U.S. channel sales for SLED/healthcare and federal, to its prestigious 2017 Women of the Channel list.

The executives who comprise this annual list span the IT channel, representing vendors, distributors, solution providers and other organizations that figure prominently in the channel ecosystem. Each is recognized for her outstanding leadership, vision and unique role in driving channel growth and innovation. CRN editors select the Women of the Channel honorees based on their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise and ongoing dedication to the IT channel.

Differentiating the Commvault Partner Channel
Nelson and Wood have driven several channel initiatives that have strengthened Commvault’s partner program, making it easier for Commvault’s alliance and reseller partners to increase profitability, differentiate from their competitors and streamline renewals and influencer’s fees.

Over the past four years, Nelson has worked with channel and alliance partners to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Commvault solutions that enhance IT’s ability to deliver business value. Specifically, she has taken the Americas Alliance program from inception to a national program supported by a team segmented by regions. By aligning the Commvault Worldwide Alliances organization with Commvault’s Americas channel strategy, she has accelerated the development of new strategic alliance solutions for Commvault’s reseller partners. These offerings have enabled Commvault’s reseller partners to provide more differentiated integrated solutions to their customers, allowing these partners to distinguish themselves from their competitors, increase their margins and upsell more professional services. Her efforts have helped Commvault partners increase demand, shorten sales cycles and secure higher revenues per deal.

Wood has led a highly skilled sales team focused on cultivating key relationships with alliance and reseller partners in the SLED, federal and healthcare vertical markets. Specifically, she helped significantly grow Commvault’s US healthcare and U.S. federal business. Her leadership has resulted in streamlined renewals and influencer’s fees and stronger partner relationships. During her past eight years with Commvault, Wood has been recognized multiple times for her leadership, receiving numerous awards.

“These extraordinary executives support every aspect of the channel ecosystem, from technical innovation to marketing to business development, working tirelessly to keep the channel moving into the future,” said Robert Faletra, CEO of The Channel Company. “They are creating and elevating channel partner programs, developing fresh go-to-market strategies, strengthening the channel’s network of partnerships and building creative new IT solutions, among many other contributions. We congratulate all the 2017 Women of the Channel on their stellar accomplishments and look forward to their future success.”

“By focusing on identifying, enabling and building a strong channel and alliance ecosystem over the past year, Cathleen and Regina have made a significant positive impact on the growth of Commvault’s business,” said Ralph Nimergood, vice president, worldwide channels & alliances at Commvault. “We look forward to building on the momentum they have helped create and continuing to focus on initiatives that further our channel strategy and foster our partner relationships.”

Nelson and Wood’s recognition adds to significant recognition already for Commvault from CRN in 2017. Earlier in the year, Nimergood was named a CRN Channel Chief for the third year in a row. Commvault was also given a 5-Star rating in CRN’s 2017 Partner Program Guide.
