Buying premium virtual private cloud services is now easier than ever with G-Cloud

TAMPA, Fla. – January 31, 2018 — /BackupReview.info/ — DSM, one of Florida’s largest private cloud providers, has announced today that they have officially been granted GSA (Government Services Administration) approval with contract number 47QTCA18D005E. DSM’s multi-petabyte cloud has previously been available via their state contract to Florida agencies, counties, and cities, as well as commercial clients. They have become the first, and only Florida-based Cloud provider offering cloud services through the GSA contract. Now, GSA makes it easier than ever for state, local, regional, and national government agencies to acquire the critical virtual private cloud (VPC) services that they need to ensure up-time production, disaster recovery, and business continuity for mission critical services.

To coincide with the GSA approval, DSM is also launching a brand-new cloud product engineered from the ground up specifically for government agencies: Miruma G-Cloud. While Microsoft Azure has a government flavor, and Amazon AWS has GovCloud – DSM’s G-Cloud is the first of its kind in that it is a virtual private cloud engineered for government agencies and includes a 99.99%+ uptime Open-Stack powered premium cloud. It also includes CJIS (and similar) compliance, is fully managed, and very easy to purchase via GSA.

“GSA approval is a culmination of a lot of hard work, and effort. The stringent vetting process is a testimony to the quality we’ve designed into our cloud,” said David Robinson, CEO for DSM. “What our team has done with G-Cloud is truly revolutionary and we’re incredibly proud to roll this new product out to our rapidly growing government client base.”

Miruma is a cloud services suite comprised of DSM’s most innovative and robust technologies: Miruma Protect (backup, disaster recovery, and security), Miruma M-Cloud (a multi-cloud capable, single pane of glass console and their virtual private cloud), and Miruma Workspace (a revolutionary virtual desktop and VDI platform). In several languages, “Miruma” means “peace of mind,” which is the goal for all of DSM’s clients.

DSM’s cloud already powers services for dozens of Florida agencies and has a track-record of near 100% uptime. With over 30 years of technology experience, G-Cloud is certified compliant with CJIS, SSAE16, SOC 1, SOC 2 and HIPAA standards. With a premier datacenter network and 99.99+% uptime, clients receive 24 x 7 x 365 support. To learn more, visit www.dsm.net
