Zerto Debuts Disruptive Backup Technology at VMworld

Demonstrating how customers and partners can leverage one continuous data protection platform to replace disparate backup, DR and cloud mobility solutions

Presenting a preview of the Zerto 7 IT Resilience PlatformTM at booth #1148, Zerto will demonstrate how its recently announced platform, built on CDP, is disrupting the market by converging backup, disaster recovery (DR) and cloud mobility solutions into a single, scalable platform. Attendees will be able to sign up for early access to Zerto 7 and test their IT resilience maturity level via a new benchmarking tool developed from research gathered by Zerto and IDC.

According to new research from IDC, 50 percent of organizations globally have suffered an unrecoverable data event in the last three years. With this mind, it’s clear that enterprise organizations need to prioritize ways to protect themselves throughout the digital transformation journey. Zerto 7, which was unveiled at ZertoCON 2018, does exactly this. It is an evolution of the IT Resilience Platform that offers a new way of doing backup.

At the show, Zerto will preview how its IT Resilience Platform, using a new functionality called an ‘elastic journal’, can protect data from seven seconds to seven years rather than depending on incremental and unreliable backups that are ill-equipped for today’s business demands. Also, based on the recent IDC and Zerto State of IT Resilience Report, Zerto will be introducing a new benchmarking tool at VMworld. The tool will allow attendees to measure their ‘IT resilience maturity level’ against their peers and map their path to successfully achieve digital transformation.
