Quali Releases CloudShell 9.0, Provides Advanced Save-And-Restore Capabilities

Newly Available Solution Gives Organizations Flexible Cloud Provider Templates. Demonstrates Solutions at VMworld 2018 at Las Vegas

SANTA CLARA, CA – Aug. 28, 2018 — /BackupReview.info/ — Quali, the leader in cloud sandbox software for DevOps automation, today announced the general availability of CloudShell 9.0. The solution brings advanced automation and orchestration capabilities to deliver environments as-a-service.

CloudShell offers full-stack, on-demand hybrid IT environments for application development and testing, including integration with physical infrastructures. New capabilities include an ability to simplify saving and restoring of sandbox environments as well as flexible cloud provider templates.

The Save-and-restore capability allows more efficient utilization and re-usability of physical and virtual infrastructure that improves productivity and maximizes resource utilization efficiency. The saving capability preserves the original environment content, configuration and network state. The “saved sandbox” can then be restored by the user at a later time. This prevents overconsumption of IT infrastructure (physical or virtual), allowing users to create a graceful backup of their work environment. The solution is initially available for virtualized environments and will be generally available on August 30.
