Australian Cloud Document Management Provider Edocx Among the First Customers to Select the Oper8 National Digital Archive

Oper8 has partnered with Hitachi Data Systems to support its growing portfolio of Australian cloud services with a cloud infrastructure that meets the highest data security, availability and compliance requirements, with data guaranteed to be stored in Australia. Initially housed in the Polaris Tier III, high security data centre, the Hitachi content management solution enables Oper8 to store, protect, preserve and retrieve unstructured data with a single storage platform.

At its core is Hitachi Content Platform, a multipurpose object storage system designed to support large-scale repositories of unstructured data. With the ability to leverage Hitachi Data Ingestor (HDI) technology as a local edge NAS cache and on-ramp for cloud backup and archiving, HCP links the cloud storage and data management services directly to the Oper8 National Digital Archive.
