100TB+ Blu-ray content storage automation for long-term archive

RIVERSIDE, CA – March 10, 2015 — /BackupReview.info/ — Today CUC announced immediate availability of the OmniLib/500H2 Blu-ray Optical Library solution, providing long-term archive for critical applications requiring data retention and permanence. Based on newly released 200GB Blu-ray double-sided media, the modular design includes 100 Terabytes of Blu-ray optical storage per 4U library appliance, delivering a 50+ year TUV certified archive.

The OL500H2 is a cost-effective green alternative to legacy disk and tape storage that require a costly data migration every 5-7 years.
