Mission-critical IT systems at Oregon Aero rely on VMware vSphere. The VMs run a mix of Windows and Linux operating systems and host various applications and databases, including Windows 2008 R2 Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange 2010, SQL Server 2005/08, and several Linux Apache web servers with MySQL.

Since the core Oregon Aero’s business relies on the availability of the virtual infrastructure, the company VMs require a high level of protection. Before NAKIVO, Jamie was using a first generation VM backup product.
