Druva Launches Japan Subsidiary; Announces Strategic Investment by NTT

Continues Global Expansion, Significantly Growing Presence in the Japanese Market

In addition, NTT Finance announced today it has made a strategic investment in Druva, recognizing the unique data protection and governance capabilities Druva brings to Japanese and global customers.

The mission of Druva Japan will be to provide support and training for reseller partners and customers while tailoring its product roadmap to align with the specific data protection-related requirements of Japan. Druva first localized its solutions for Japan a year ago. NTT Finance’s strategic investment will be used to further build and scale Druva operations in the region.

Druva first announced its entrance into the Japanese market last year, with its NetOne Systems partnership, which made the company’s data protection solutions available locally. IT solution provider NTT Neomeit also became the first Japanese Managed Service Provider (MSP) of Druva at the time. Since then, Druva has appointed NetOne Partners as a distributor, and signed new Japanese partners including AP-Communications, CLCP, Serverworks, and SO-NET Business Associates. These partnerships will ensure Druva has the local expertise to deliver data protection and governance solutions that address regional data protection and privacy requirements. Druva is also introducing its PartnerSync program for new partners in Japan in order to ensure that Druva’s solutions can be made available to all industries and market segments in Japan.
