Certified Joint Solution Streamlines Media Workflow through Hybrid Cloud Architecture

Levels Beyond leveraged the Java Software Development Kit to build a certified Spectra S3 plugin for its Reach Engine platform to significantly improve upon traditional storage management processes. The Spectra-certified solution delivers seamless workflows, minimizes file movements on production networks, and reduces network traffic. It provides intelligent, continuous management of massive amounts of content across multiple storage tiers, both on premise and in the cloud.

Reach Engine adds content intelligence to automated media workflows. Paired with BlackPearl, Reach Engine manages content lifecycles using business and media metadata. The integrated solution offers content creators and owners a hybrid solution, ensuring media is always accessible, whether within the edit suite or a direct-to-digital channel. BlackPearl is a next-generation converged storage system, and an ideal match for Reach Engine’s API-driven model. The fully integrated solution provides a modern approach to archive with native support for hybrid cloud and multi-site infrastructures.
