Government agencies can now take advantage of a cloud data protection and management solution that meets U.S. government’s rigorous information security standards

The FedRAMP is a U.S. government-wide program that provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services, helping employees become more productive while staying secure.

As a FedRAMP-authorized Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering, government organizations can now embrace Data Management-as-a-Service (DMaaS) in the public cloud. This standard provides federal agencies with the confidence that Druva’s products meet the stringent security requirements to be used by all government agencies. It also allows government agencies to execute on the U.S. Government’s Cloud First directive that mandates cloud services be assessed and considered first over the acquisition of on premises infrastructure.

Government agencies looking to store and manage critical information in the public cloud are required to use a FedRAMP-authorized solution. With this authorization, Druva inSync is now among a select group of eighty plus cloud solutions with the FedRAMP ATO designation, which further strengthens Druva’s already impressive SOC-2 and HIPAA security credentials.
