RESTON, Va. – March 6, 2018 — /BackupReview.info/ — ORock® Technologies, Inc., announced today that its ORockCloud offering received an “In Process” designation from the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP). ORockCloud is now designated as “FedRAMP In Process” at the Moderate Impact Level under the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) models, with sponsorship provided by a Department of Defense agency.

The “FedRAMP In Process” designation indicates to government agencies that a cloud service provider (CSP) is actively working with a sponsoring agency to achieve FedRAMP authorization. It confirms the CSP and the agency are committed to achieving an Authority to Operate (ATO) that meets FedRAMP requirements in a timely manner.
