During the past year, Riverbed announced an interoperable platform – The Riverbed Application Performance PlatformTM – that includes five Riverbed solution families that come together to address a range of challenges related to delivering applications and data across globalized networks. Hayes helped spearhead several key channel developments during this transformation and she and her team evolved Riverbed’s channel program to a competency-based model, designed to drive increased engagement, product knowledge and cross-product sales with partners.

Since Riverbed launched its restructured Performance Partner Program in January 2014, more than 1,000 partners worldwide have achieved Premier or higher status in the new program, reflecting their commitment to the Riverbed portfolio of solutions. The vast majority of these partners have competency in two or more product solutions, showing a migration to platform selling.

Joining Riverbed in April 2014, Tinney has brought additional leadership, channel and industry experience to the company. Tinney will continue to improve and refine Riverbed’s already successful channel strategy to address the business needs of customers. Prior to joining Riverbed, as Director of Strategy and Planning for Cisco Systems Americas Service team, Tinney successfully led a team to coordinate resources across sales, delivery, marketing and channels to map to a plan that achieved key revenue targets.

“Riverbed is continuing to grow as a multi-product platform provider, delivering broader and more strategic value to our customers while creating new revenue opportunities for Riverbed and our partners,” said Keith Hoskison, senior vice president, Worldwide Channels and Strategic Account Programs at Riverbed. “This is an exciting time for Riverbed, and Michele’s and Lynn’s leadership with our partners and the channel will help us continue to offer the most complete set of solutions to improve business performance by optimizing application performance. This recognition once again highlights Riverbed’s commitment, through its Performance Partner Program, to providing the best products and support for our partners and customers.”

“These female executives have risen in the ranks of their organizations and are leaving their indelible mark on the technology channel. We celebrate their many contributions and the varied ways in which they help solution providers grow and thrive every day,” said Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel Company. “We congratulate the Women of the Channel and Power 100, and look forward to their continued success.”
