SharePlan’s commitment to security, visibility and productivity helps it stand out in crowded EFSS field

Minneapolis, MN – Aug. 25, 2014 — / — Code42, the leader in endpoint data protection and management, today announced the company’s SharePlan enterprise file sync and share solution has been named a “KMWorld 2014 Trend-Setting Product” for its commitment to market and customer innovation. The distinction marks Code42’s second consecutive year on the list—CrashPlan enterprise endpoint backup was named a 2013 Trend-Setting Product.

The KMWorld 2014 Trend-Setting Products list and Code42 company profile will be included in the September 2014 issue of KMWorld, available September 1.

Products selected for the 2014 list all have demonstrated a commitment to innovation and customers, as well as to defining and enhancing a market critically important to KMWorld’s readership by listening to and working with customers.

“Code42’s SharePlan was selected by the panel because it demonstrates thoughtful, well-reasoned innovation and execution for the most important constituency of them all: the customer,” said Hugh McKellar, editor-in-chief of KMWorld.

KMWorld’s Trend-Setting Product awards began in 2003. This year, more than 650 offerings from vendors were assessed by KMWorld’s judging panel, which consists of editorial colleagues, analysts, system integrators, vendors themselves, line-of-business managers and users. All products selected demonstrate clearly identifiable technology breakthroughs that serve the vendors’ full spectrum of constituencies, especially their customers.

“It is an honor to be included in this prestigious KMWorld list for the second consecutive year,” said Mitch Coopet, co-founder and head of product at Code42. “With SharePlan, we’ve solved the pervasive Dropbox problem for enterprises. Our commitment to providing security and visibility for IT—all with a consistent, elegant user experience—is what makes SharePlan such a stand-out solution.”

Code42’s award-winning enterprise file sync and share solution, SharePlan, allows users to easily, effectively collaborate by sharing documents in a secure manner, without restrictions on file size and type. SharePlan enables teams to work efficiently while easily managing the flow of endpoint data inside and outside the enterprise.
