Cloud Storage Marketing Executive Joins Egnyte to Drive Global Marketing and Product Strategies

Mountain View, Calif. – September 9, 2014 — /BackupReview.info/ — Egnyte, the only provider of a complete suite of enterprise file services built from the cloud down, today announced the latest version of one of its flagship products Storage Connect, a solution that enables direct access to files stored behind the firewall without data or metadata moving to the cloud. Storage Connect 2.0 introduces cluster deployments, providing high availability and horizontal scalability to meet the privacy and security requirements of enterprise customers. Egnyte also unveiled WebEdit for Storage Connect to enable customers to edit files stored behind the firewall in their native applications.

“As we move into the next phase of our growth, it is crucial for Egnyte to have leadership with deep expertise in marketing and selling to enterprise-level organizations. With Isabelle’s strong background in the enterprise storage and cloud industries, she will help us expand into new markets, both domestically and internationally, with product strategies and go-to-market initiatives that resonate with IT customers and partners, ” said Vineet Jain, co-founder and CEO of Egnyte.

“I’m thrilled to join Egnyte, a company that uniquely delivers secure enterprise-grade file sync and share services over private, public and hybrid clouds,” said Isabelle Guis. “Egnyte integrates with industry-leading on-premises storage equipment from EMC, NetApp, and others, as well as with best-in-class cloud storage providers, such as Amazon, Google and Microsoft. This strong ecosystem is imperative to effectively meet the diverse compliance, investment protection and cloud sharing requirements of enterprise customers.”
