New Suite Includes Built-In Multi Factor Authentication and Uniquely Protects Encryption Keys with Multi Factor Authentication
NEW YORK and PUNE, India, July 13, 2016 — /BackupReview.info/ –Vaultize , the security leader in enterprise digital rights management (eDRM), today announced the general availability of the latest version of the Vaultize Platform, a comprehensive data security solution providing the most robust end-to-end data security available in the market. With this release security conscious companies in the Fortune 500 need to ensure that their critical data is completely secure from end-to-end and can only be accessed with the appropriate rights. With this release Vaultize closes a key gap that exists in eDRM solutions today.
Current eDRM solutions on the market have a major weakness with regard to text files. Saving as .TXT and .CSV is a known tactic to defeat the DRM, which rely on features in proprietary executable software. Vaultize is the first company to truly protect these files from those who do not have access rights by building a secure text reader into the eDRM client. It is common to have critical human resource and financial data in these file types and with the growth in Internet of Things (IoT), sensors are increasingly generating such data. Now with Vaultize’s integrated editing software and eDRM, these files are finally secure.
This release also extends Vaultize’s Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) beyond system login to secure our patented Vault KNOX solution. Vault KNOX performs military-grade encryption of data together with de-duplication on user devices at the source itself and access to that data is now more secure and completely under the control of IT. In fact, the encryption keys themselves are now secured by MFA. This upgrade also provides SMS as an option for MFA. Additionally the Vaultize platform has MFA capability built into its platform so in addition to fully supporting and integrating with Radius, companies that want the convenience and control of a built in solution can now take advantage of it.
“Our customers are putting their most sensitive data in the hands of our technology – it is literally a bet the business decision,” said Ankur PanchBudhe, Vaultize co-founder and CTO. “We are continually working to earn this trust, giving customers what they need to adapt to the ever changing landscape of security technology. Vaultize is setting the standard for true enterprise grade DRM by extending the power of our military grade encyption to text data and the encryption system itself, going beyond existing capabilities in the industry and ensuring organizations have control over their data.”
To be used when sharing the most sensitive data – Vaultize has strengthened its blocking of screen capture in vDRM. It can now block screen capture in screen sharing tools such as WebEx, TeamViewer and Skype and via advanced screenshot tools like Snipping Tool, SnagIt and Camtasia.
