Competency reaffirms Datapipe’s deep domain expertise in enabling customers to achieve storage goals on AWS

JERSEY CITY, NJ – June 7, 2017 — /BackupReview.info/ — Datapipe, a leader in managed cloud services for the enterprise, today announced that it has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Storage Competency status within the AWS Partner Network (APN). The AWS Storage Competency is a core competency within the AWS Competency Program. As an AWS partner since 2010, this additional designation highlights Datapipe’s deep experience in ensuring seamless storage solutions for customers on AWS.

Storage infrastructure can be costly to businesses that are lifting and shifting legacy infrastructures to the cloud. One of the advantages a fully managed AWS storage solution affords is cost-effective storage infrastructure, engineered by an AWS Certified Solutions Architect. AWS storage solutions are designed to ensure data availability and continuity across cloud and on-premises environments to keep business operations running smoothly and uninterrupted.

Achieving the AWS Storage Competency demonstrates Datapipe’s deep domain expertise in core storage categories, including Backup & Recovery, Primary Storage, Archive, or Business Continuance/Disaster Recovery (BCDR,) having developed innovative technology and solutions that leverage AWS services.

“We’re committed to building upon our strong relationship with AWS – one that we’ve fostered since we first launched managed services for AWS in 2010,” said David Lucky, Director of Product Management, Datapipe. “Being one of the first APN partners to achieve AWS Storage Competency Status is a testament to our long track record of safeguarding our customers mission-critical information and ensuring their continued success on AWS Cloud.”

The AWS Competency Program is designed to provide AWS customers with qualified AWS Partner Network (APN) members who have demonstrated technical proficiency and proven success in specialized solution and vertical areas. The AWS Storage Competency is the fifth AWS Competency Datapipe has achieved. Datapipe’s other AWS competencies include: Migration, Oracle, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Exchange. Each of these AWS recognitions are achieved only after meeting detailed program requirements, customer references, customer support review, and completion of in-depth AWS training and certification programs.

AWS Competencies are only awarded to APN partners, like Datapipe, that have demonstrated technical proficiency and proven customer success in specialized solution areas. Datapipe is also a member of the AWS Managed Service Program, AWS Service Delivery Program, and AWS Public Sector Partner Program. Datapipe has been an APN Premier Consulting Partner since February 2013 and maintains data center locations in all six AWS regions.
