Conference brings together security and information technology experts to discuss best practices and innovation in data security

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — January 8, 2018 — / –  Code42, the leader in cloud-based endpoint data protection and recovery, announced details today about Evolution18, the company’s third annual customer conference. The three-day event, which takes place April 9-11 at the Westin St. Francis in San Francisco, will feature Theresa Payton as guest keynote speaker. Payton, who served as the first female chief information officer at the White House, overseeing information technology operations for President George W. Bush, is one of the nation’s leading authorities on Internet security, data breaches and fraud mitigation.

The conference education program covers Code42 certifications and topics, such as administration, configuration, deployment, advanced API techniques, data collection and forensics and more. Conference attendees will choose from more than 30 breakout sessions that include “ask-the-expert” panels, data recovery case studies and industry trends. In addition, customers can connect with peers and the company’s product team for hands-on labs and training on Code42 solutions.

The Evolution18 conference also will feature Code42′s third annual Evolutionaries Awards, which recognize the achievements of customers in data protection and recovery. Award nominations are being accepted through Feb. 23 across 10 categories that celebrate unique deployments, successful adoptions, best-practice makers and innovative applications. Winners will be announced on April 10 during the conference.
